What are the CO alarm testing procedures?

Check date code on alarm. Replace if date has expired.
If device is battery operated, replace batteries.
Test electronics of device. Steady GREEN light indicates device electronics are normal. The TEST button tests all ELECTRICAL functions of the alarm. It does not check the sensor operation. The TEST button is located on the front of the alarm. Press and hold the TEST button for 1 second. The alarm is working properly if the GREEN indicator light changes color to RED and the horn beeps 4 times. IMPORTANT – If this alarm does not test properly return it immediately for repair or replacement.
Test CO sensor. Use a can of SAFE-T-ALERT CO test gas to test the 400 PPM calibration point using the test chamber included with can. DO NOT TRY TO GENERATE CO TO TEST THE ALARM.

High Bilge Water Alarms

What do the visual and audible signals on the High Bilge Water Alarm indicate?

The Green LED light indicates normal operation. When the sensor detects bilge water above the alarm threshold levels, the alarm will sound and the RED alarm light will activate.

Is there a trouble-shooting guide for the High Bilge Water Alarm?

How do I test the Float Sensor Operation on the High Bilge Water Alarm?

Hold the float sensor up as high as it well travel for at least 10 seconds. The alarm should sound and the RED alarm light on the control panel should be flashing. Press Mute button to silence.

Is there a trouble-shooting guide for Gas / Propane Fume Detectors?

NO ALARM WHEN SENSOR IS REMOVED	IF PANEL TESTS OK, REPLACE THE SENSOR SA-186-SB.
NO ALARM WITH LIGHTER TEST	IF THE PANEL TESTS OK, REPLACE THE SA-186-S. IF THAT DOES NOT REMEDY THE CONDITION, REPLACE THE SENSOR ASSEMBLY SA-186-SB.

What are the testing procedures for the Fume Detectors?

With the unit on, check the sensor assembly light. The RED light should be on.
When the ON (GREEN) operation light is lit, the sensor assembly can be tested.
SENSOR TEST: Direct the lighter towards the sensor and depress the lever to release gas (only) into the sensor. The alarm should sound and the ALARM (RED) light on the control panel should be lit.
SUPERVISORY CIRCUIT TEST 1: Disconnect one end of the 20-foot connector cable. The alarm should sound and the ALARM (RED) light on the control panel should be lit.
SUPERVISORY CIRCUIT TEST 2: Use a rocking motion to pull the sensor (Figaro TGS 813) straight out from the sensor assembly. The alarm should sound and the ALARM (RED) light on the control panel should be lit.
Water Sensor (Model SA-10XL only): Raise the float and the alarm and RED Water light should activate.
Heat Sensor (Model SA-10XL only): CAUTION-Never use an open flame. Hold a 100 Watt light bulb on the tip of the sensor. The alarm and light should activate in about 30 seconds.
